Question:

If you are a dog owner i need your opinion?

Hi, i have 2 months old siberian husky and im worried about his peeing and pooping all over the houseBecause we live in hot climate he drinks a lot of water every day so he sometimes pees every 40 minutesHe was peeing on pee pads but now he started peeing and pooping on our carpetsI take him out often but most of the time he doesnt go out and then goes out inside when i take him back I know that larger huskies ( about 6 ) months already stop peeing like that and pee 2-3 times a day so i was wondering if i can teach him to use pee pads now and when he grows up a little bit or when winter comes to teach him fully to go outside because i cant take him out every 30 minutes and i am very exhausted becouse all i do every day is to watch him not to poop on carpets

Answer:

You don't say where you are, but there are small, independent mills all around the countrySome will do small batches, some need a minimum to operate their machineryIt's all the set-up and clean-up that really costs, so the more you do, the betterYou can also find many spinners that will do the work for you, but you are going to have to pay a higher priceHowever, the yarn is usually of a nicer quality when hand spunGet a sample of each and then you can decide which you like bestAnd of course, you might also find some off-shore mills that will do the work for you at a lower cost than you can get done in your own country.
It is my opinion that pee pads don't workThey essentially teach dogs that it's okay to use the bathroom anywhere in the houseI find that the best way to housetrain a dog is when you're BOTH outside and he poops or pees where you want, then praise him right then and there and use a word like bathroom or whatever you like to associate with that behaviorKeep doing this and eventually you'll have a dog that not only doesn't poo or pee in the house, but will also go to the bathroom on command.
