I want to know how to set the timing on an 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 350 V8 5.0 liter. I jus went to get a smog and they said the RPM is out of specs, I live in California the greatest place for a smog. Also where can i locate the aldl diagnostic connector i know they say its in the passenger compartment but where? In the glove box? Be specific please.
its under the hood neer the distributer its either a 4 or 1 wire connector check the emissions decal it says wich one and where it is the best way to have the vacume lines is to put them back to stock the dealer can print you out a diagram
check your car manual book or online search. i always does that, it helped me but i odnt know bout u
