I kind of want ceramic because I don‘t want them to be noticeable. However, the denist‘s assistant said that I should get metal because they‘re easier to clean. I can‘t decide!

I have ceramic braces and I don't have any difficulty at all cleaning them. Don't get metal braces unless you want to look like you're 14 years old, LOL :) Good luck
I had metal braces. I never had a problem with them. I've had frioends who've had the ceramic and they stained very easily and were harder to clean. I really think that both braces are noticable, but they have come along way. Besides remember they're temporary.
ceramic braces can stain REALLY easily. i would go with metal. that way, you can choose colors that match the season, holiday, or whatever. i got braces about a month ago, and now that they've stopped hurting, i love choosing colors! just remeber. dont get a really bright color the first time. i got baby blue. kind of regret it.
It is also not free. Hire a consultant.
