So i did a lot of research on them and i found out that they stain very easily,but i still decided to get them. So i know i can not eat foods with color like sauces, curry, and lots of juice, etc.but i was wondering what foods are okay to eat, and i already bought a travel toothbrush and kit that i will take everywhere with me and brush right after i eat. and i got those spinning tooth brushes. So basically i was wondering is this good enough and are there any tips on keeping them white and clean? Thanks.
Not ALL grades of stainless steel are magnetic. Austenitic grades are the kind that is not.
I have ceramic braces too. I asked my orthodontist how to prevent stains, she said only the elastics will stain. (which get changed every month) The actual brackets will stay clear. I like to drink tea, so i started drinking it out of a straw to prevent staining. I had pizza for the first time with them a few nights ago. I was afraid the sauce would stain, but everything was fine. Just be sure to brush your teeth after every meal.
i have ceramic braces for almost a year and there still clean and white just brush them with a tree brush after every meal and drink ( i just go excuse myself to bathroom and carry a treebrush in my pocket or purse) but just eat what you want and brush them and you are good!
