im going cook candied pecans with a sugar mixture and it says to bake on parchment paper(as not to stick) can i use aluminum foil ? and i DONT have wax paper either.helpthanks

You could use the foil if you greased it VERY, VERY well (or you'll have foil stuck to the nuts)You wouldn't put waxed paper in the oven anyways, or it will meltAre you sure that recipe says to bake the nuts?? Usually, you just toss them in the candy syrup and spread them on the pan and let them coolThen separate them
