I don't know anything about the academy BUT I really don't see why they would disqualify you. Its not like your pallet and lip would interfere in any work or exercises they would give you....Yes, I do believe it would be noticeable but listen, I didn't even know my doctor (in my early years) had a clept lip and a clift pallet because he was always wearing a mustache at the time. I Just remembered, I don't think they would allow a mustache in the academy, right?. All this to say that they should not disqualify you since your clept would never interfere with your physical activities....Best of luck to you. By the way, you would have a better chance at qualifying for the acadamy than I would with my Mitral Valve Prolapse.....so chin up and don't let anyone pull you down.
