what else can i add the 1st 2 answeres are dead on right solder copper strap, plenty of water on hand for saftey, and if you can access it from the backside you'll have saved tile work big$$$$

I agree with danny of attacking it from the back side to avoid tiling versus drywall. If you do not have a soldering torch or you are not confident in trying to solder, go to any hardware store and ask for a product called Sharkbite fittings. they install by just pushing over the pipe. That's it. You can come out the other end of the sharkbite fitting with copper or cpvc. I use them all the time. They are the greatest thing out there. i prefer to use cpvc to come out of the sharkbite and because there is no soldering involved, and the cpvc pipe and fittings are cheaper then copper. If you do use the sharkbites it is critical to have a straight cut on the pipe, so invest in a small copper pipe cutter.
