If this is her first foal, then I think she is confused. She has a maternal instinct, to a foal but is confused as to what one. She has likely refused her foal in pursuit for the colt. You should take the filly away from the new momma and never leave them alone together. The new momma might hurt her filly. You can have the filly nurse on her mother but be there to watch them, then as soon as the filly is done separate them. You can't keep this up for at least 4 or 5 months so you will need to either bottle feed the filly or find a nurse mare that has lost her foal or I've herd of goats adopting foals and treating them as their own young.
Why not mount 2 or more? One in the side panel area under the steering wheel and one near the engine compartment. A better idea is to have the second one be an automatic halon extinguisher in the engine compartment
