Okay, so We're planning on building a dog house that can fit 2 of my dogs(A 2 year old lab, and a 18 year old husky) and its going to be winter in 2 months, and since we're not home(School,/work) We're planning on keeping them outside(When it gets colder i'll be coming home in 2 hours to let them in and my brother will do it again later) than during january and febuary where it gets really cold, they'll be inside most of the day, than outside from 12-3(gets warmer than) and I'm just wondering what would be the BEST insulation I read that it was straw, but not sure on that, and i know some people use electric heating pads, so any help?and just in case anyone wonders, the reason we're building one now, is my brothers use to stay with us and be home(They were for a while, come home, work for awhile, and so on) and they let the dogs in when it got cold/wet so it was never a problem before,
