Question:

insulation for attic walk space floorboards? insulation pads of some sort?

Hi, we have a back bedroom that heats up in the summer and gets colder in the winter than the rest of the houseThis is due to the fact it is above the uninsulated walk-space in the atticIs there a product (or solution) to this lack of insulation that would still allow us to use the walk-space while better insulating the room below?

Answer:

That's a pretty vague questionTechnique is not important as safetyAll big trucks are generally the same within the trucks purposeYou can't compare a cement truck with a combination truck, or a day cab with a line-haul truckBest technique you can develop is to be patientYou're 40 tons and 70 feet long, there is no way to hurry when you're that bigHave a sense of humor, laugh at the dumb things drivers do everydayLearn what they might do, anticipate it and be ready to react whichever way you need to in each situationIt's amazing how many car drivers think a big truck can stop on a dime so they can stop at McDs in front of themJust be as safe as you can and hopefully you'll never have a serious problemBTW 80% of big truck accidents are caused by cars doing dumb things around trucksFast drivers are seldom old drivers.
please post some photos to help get best solution or just add more rolled batts to enhance the thickness of the room below the walkway .
