So lately right before my period is suposed to start I get really dizzy and start to black out my mom said its because I‘m dehydrated and I need to start taking iron and some multivitamins I missed my period last month and was wondering if iron will help straighten it out (I‘m taking iron any ways) Also I‘m 13
Iron doesn't regulate periods. When you lose a lot of blood, you become anemic (not enough red blood cells) and iron is needed by your body to produce more. Getting dizzy and blacking out is a symptom of this.
