Question:

ironing hair?

if i iron my hair regularly, is it going to make my hair strands thinner?

Answer:

It depends. If you use a regular straight iron or an iron, it will damage your hair ALOT! But a good ceramic straight iron will not. The CHI is the best, and there's also another one called Color(?.forgot the name). Anyway, they are both about $150. but they are well worth it. I started using the CHI about two years ago. Before that my hair was very damaged, but now people can't tell I use heat or anything on it at all. BTW It also helps to use an ionic hair dryer if you blow dry.
No, but if you color it, even with the same as your natural color, it will make your hair strands thicker as it bonds to the color.
It burns your hair, makes it brittle. What you can do is go to sallys or to your local store and look for a heat Protector. You spray it on your hair and it saves your hair from the heat of strait irons, curling irons and blow dryers. Try it
