they have a president sale (like everyone else) but they have a nice sofa and loveseat grey stone color for $597 in their ad. It is called the Redmond Microfiber living room. they describe it as covered in suede soft Microfiber Plush, in a sophisticated stone color, the Redmond is luxurious, yet durable this is my first purchase of furniture and it sounds like a good deal. what do you think. does anyone have reviews/comments about rooms to go furniture or about the sofa and love seat itself??
The price is right but the quality wont last. A decent couch alone runs around $1000-$1500 and that is on the low side. Save for a good set or purchase a neutral colored chair for this amount of money.

yes, but don't expect it to last for the rest of your life. maybe about five to ten years, depending how rough it gets treated. the frame will not hold up like a more expensive couch, but it will look nice and be comfortable for several years. and at that price, why think of it as an heirloom?

Save your money and invest in a good quality sofa that will last. You get what you pay for. I could guarantee you will not be comfortable and that it will only last one year, if that. I'm sorry. I hate for you to make your first purchase a poor one. Use a futon or something until you save up for a nice sofa. Shop around at Lazy boy, Broyhill, Thomasville, Ethan Allen or other reputable furniture maker's. You may have to save up a little longer but it will be worth it in the long run. You can skimp on other pieces for a look. This is just my opinion. It is a deal that will fall apart.
