Is activated charcoal a mixture? Why?
It is made of charcoal finish, its main component is carbon, but still contains some impurities, it belongs to amorphous carbon.
Carbon: refers to the use of carbon, writing elements and their compounds, such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, calcium carbonate and so on.
Carbon: refers to carbon containing impurities, mainly refers to amorphous carbon, charcoal, activated carbon, carbon black and coke.
