What I was wondering is if a cat-back exhaust from a wrx would be compatible with my 9-3?do they have the same bends and pipe diameter and things like that?and could it be easily modified to fit the Saab?
It's the Saab 9-2x Aero from 05 and 06 that is identical to the GD chassis WRX's not the 9-3. So no it's not going to work.
The 2005-06 Saab 9-2x, the very look-a-like the subaru WRX wagon shared the same engine (EJ20T and EJ25T), will be compatabile for the system. But for your bends and diameter, they should be direct fitting until the last part. (they don't share the same brand of exhaust) only the engine.
No way. The WRX exhaust is nearly straight and goes under the suspension as opposed to other cars going over it. The aftermarket Saab exhaust is completely different. They are two completely different vehicles. To avoid hassles and headaches, get an exhaust designed for your 9-3.
