Both face mask and visor you've chosen are level IIIA, the difference however is mobility and visibility. The face mask restricts visibility and the strap system makes it near impossible to be mobile. The visor/helmet combo on the other hand has better visibility and provides for better mobility because of a more secure strap system. As far as the plates you've selected, again no difference in protection levels. Take your pick, they're both the same.
The best tampons i've found for a super heavy flow are Kotex Super Plusit's like they're for whales. It seems like the Regular size of the Kotex are about the same size as a Super in other brands.
