Is it illegal to take pallets from behind stores?
Indirectly it is because crooked teeth is usually due to not having enough room in the dental arches for teeth to line up correctly. When jaws are too narrow, there is not enough room for the teeth to align the way they should so they fit the best way they are able to with what space is available. This is why teeth are crooked. Expanders widen the dental arches to create more room for teeth but usually braces are also needed to get the teeth to line up properly.
A palatal expander would be used to make your upper jaw wider. For crooked teeth, you would need braces. Some patients have an expander first, then braces. Not everyone with crooked teeth needs an expander. Some patients need only braces.
