Question:

Is it possible to make an arc welder with a car battery, jumper cables, and electrodes?

Is it possible to make an arc welder with a car battery, jumper cables, and electrodes? I would think it's pretty much the same conceptI've never welded before, but the thought just popped in my mind and I thought I would ask it.

Answer:

Organic cotton bags (better yet, hemp bags)Plastic and glass take energy to produce - greenhouse gasses are produced.
Any Energy Star rated product would be a good choiceTo receive the Energy Star rating the product must meet high standards and be at lest 30% more efficent then the norm.
This is a good questionIf you reuse and wash them outThey both are okI would go with plastic for cost, weight and safetyI recently learned that lemon juice and baking soda paste can be a great stain remover.
YesMany off roaders keep thin rod for fixing their toys while out in the boondocksIt works in a pinchYou have to keep the arc away from the battery of course since it will have some hydrogen gas in it from chargingNever do it while your motor is running since the surge may take out your alternator.
