Question:

is it safe to drink out of old beer cans?

I thought it would be a cool idea to convert some beer cans into normal drinking glassesI just used a can opener to remove the inside of the top, still keeping the thick rounded edgeIf it is sterilized in boiling water, would it be safe to use repeatedly?

Answer:

I'm going to disagree and say that the cans are made of aluminum which is not treated on the inside so u should have no problem with germs or chemicals, as long as you keep it clean as you would any other container or dish ware, hey they make refillable Eco-friendly aluminum containers for water right? just not sure how you are going to keep from denting them when they are not filledthe lid is structurally necessary to keep the can from collapsing in my experience but whatever throw em in the dishwasher.
Instead of searching for fruits and veggies that do not give you gas, you should keep searching for a way to rid yourself of the digestive problems you haveDigestive problems are not genetic or anything like thatThey are usually due to longterm lifestyle and eating habitsOften certain medications will contribute to digestive problems as wellAlso look into pro-biotic foods, instead of pro-biotic supplementsSomeone I know was forced to take antibiotics for a medical procedureIt screwed up her digestion for over a yearLiterally, she had to be very aware of eating very easy to digest foods, including pro-biotic foods, and adding digestive enzymes to her dietAny small deviation would produce much discomfortBut she never had a problem with fruits and vegetablesIn fact, fruits are the easiest thing for humans to digestI suggest that perhaps your fruits and vegetables are actually digesting too quickly due to your intake of too many pro-biotic supplements etcYou may need a lot of pro-biotic and digestive help for cooked foods, but for raw uncooked fruits and vegetables (which most digest very easily), you would need lessFibre doesn't digestIt's fibreFibre just helps to scrape the insides of your digestive tract and keep it cleanThat's the main reason fibre is 'good' for youInstead of taking vitamins for nutrients, I recommend taking spirulina insteadVitamins or multi-vitamins are just a scamThey are not whole vitamins or vitamins at allSpirulina is packed full of vitamins and minerals etcand is a whole-foodVitamins pills, are not whole vitamins and not whole foodsI also have found that Flora Health makes some good whole food supplementsWell, those are my suggestions, hopefully something works for you.
