Is map gas better to solder copper pipe than propane?

Answer:

Yes, MAPP is a much better/hotter gas for soldering. It will reduce your time by 70% or more. Just remember to clean and flux all of your joints prior to assembly.
As a tradesmen I agree with jimmval. If you're not experienced at soldering you can easily get the joint too hot and the solder will just roll off, especially with the solders used these days. If you're experienced mapp is the shcizz!
Map gas is better. Because it get's hotter.
