Hi there. My dog knocked my AOC LCD computer monitor off my desk and it hit the floor. There is no visible damage except for the frame popped off a little, which I put back on. The problem is the picture will only stay on for a second, and the image shuts off for a good 30 seconds or so, then repeat. Sometimes the display I see is where I am currently at on the PC, in this case the desktop screen, and other times it shows the startup AOC logo. Do you think it is possible that a plug could have came loose and that I can simply pull off the back of the monitor and plug back in? Or is it time to buy another one? Thanks in advance.

It's hard to tell, but it might be fixable. Sounds like a loose power connection if the AOC-startup logo pops up. I would check for any damage around where you plug in the power cable, then reseat the plug firmly. You could pop it open and have a look inside if you feel adventurous (make sure it's unplugged first). Unless you know what you're doing (and possibly have some measuring equipment) this might not tell you much unless there is visible physical damage. If the only other option is buying a new monitor, then it's worth a shot! If you need a new monitor, I recommend you look for one with an IPS panel type and 16:10 proportions (e.g. 1920x1200).
