Question:

is olivine or peridot a type of quartz?

I see peridot quartz for sale all the time. I was wondering if peridot quartz and plain peridot are the same. Or is it just referring to the color

Answer:

have self belief it or no longer maximum Swiss watches use eastern Quartz of their watches. Quartz are quartz The Swiss bye them from the eastern for his or her watches, through fact they're nicely.made and greater inexpensive, and greater inexpensive is greater effective.
Japanese quartz movements are amongst the best in the world, certainly from Seiko or Citizen. The Swiss are more famous for their mechanical movements, but they also make some fine quartz watches too.
Most Japanese movements are junk; a few are good. All chinese movements -- ALL of them -- are bad, but in the future some will be good. Some Swiss movements are junk, too. Regardless of the country of origin, you will have to do some real research to learn which ones are worthwhile.
