Is Sapphire and Sapphire quartz the same thing? How do they differ?
I'm not sure there is specific name for this. Both quartz and glass are made up primarily of silica (SiO2) so they are very similar materials with the same hardness. As neither is more hard none of them are scratched.
the association of the molecules. similar challenge with coal and diamonds. both are made out of organic and organic carbon, yet they're prepared in a diverse way on the molecular aspect which makes the diamond somewhat complicated and coal now not so complicated.
