let me start off with i'm a cosmetologist/barber and actually straightening ur hair everyday is not that bad if u have the proper toolsi myself have been straightening my hair just about every day for the past ten yrs n my hair is very long, healthy, silky, and naturally shiny (my hair always gets complimented)now the most important thing is the flat ironif u want to keep ur hair healthy u need to invest in a good professional flat ironthe difference with a professional flat iron and a flat iron that u would buy at say a Walmart or Walgreens is that professional flat irons r ceramic and commercial flat irons are 'ceramic plated' which ultimately deteriorates ur hairalso wat u need is a thermal protectant spray, which will coat ur hair and serve as a shieldagain a professional product is recommendedcommercial products tend to be more acidic and u want a product that has more of a neutral ph.
