if you have a pipe thats been used a lot and has a ton of res should you clean it?res hitting a bowl i've heard is bad or you but if you're just too lazy (i wonder why) to clean the bowl, it it bad to smoke out of?

there is risk of an electrical short in an electric blanket as well as burning the skin or becoming overheated so I would avoid those, even a brand new one space heaters can also pose hazards but is safer than an electric blanket, in my opinion ONLY use one that has an feature that shuts if off if it tips over or the grill is blocked or covered DO NOT place it near bedding. drapes, upholstered furniture, anything flammable it should be new - don't drag out an old one with possible cracking in the electric cord
