Is the LED light a cold light source?
It relies on electrons in the semiconductor heterojunction to transfer energy directly through the barrier to direct luminescence. The light produced by LED makes the energy conversion efficiency close to one hundred percent because of no heat generated during the process.

The LED lamp belongs to a cold light source, but has a spectrum of warm (yellow) and cold (blue) hues on it.
