Grape Nuts has too much sugar and salt!! Is there an alternative?
Al has to gain 3 electrons since it has a room for 3 electrons in valence shell, and Cl has room for 1 electron only and it needs only 1 electron to complete its octet, so 3 Cl will bond with 1 Al so it makes AlCl3, means 3 chloride ions bonded with 1 Al ion so Al has completed its octet by gaining 3 electrons from 3 ions of chloride, and each chloride ion also completed their octet/outer most shellHope u get!
