Question:

Is there a way to optimize a pallet qty using MS Excel?

I am trying to automate a new item setup process, where we have to calcuate the number of boxes that fit on each layer of a pallet. Our pallets are 48quot; by 52quot;, and I would like to maximize the number of boxes per layer, while utilizing as much space as possible. Is there anyone that could let me know how this can be done? An example would be:Product box is 26quot; Long and 19quot; Wide. The solution is 4 boxes per layer.

Answer:

the palletes are magnetic like a fridge. and the pans have a magnet on the back of them .
Magnetic :)
The palettes are magnetic but the eyeshadows aren't unless you buy the pan form/refill form. If you depot them you have to stick and adhesive magnet on the back of it. Buying refills are cheaper though. $11 compared to $14.50
