Last year my dad tore down a massive growth of virginia creeper that was attached to the side of the house (aluminum siding)However, the sticky tendrils still remain today; I have already tried knocking them loose with a hoseIs there a way to remove the tendrils without damaging the siding?

Use Prestone or Peak, but it needs to be changed every year, but Dexcool will last 5 years.
The light yellow Prestone Extended Life is a good substituteLike Dexcool it is 5 year coolant made for aluminum, but unlike (at least the original) Dexcool (don't know about the latest formulations) it does not have 2-EHA (2-ethylhexanoic acid) that is/was responsible for attacking intake manifold gaskets and probably hosesConventional green is not a good choice because it contains silicates that attack the seals on most modern water pumps, leading to reduced lifeThe main aluminum in your system is in the head - no, I mean your car engine's cylinder head - and the radiatorMixing is not a concern - all coolant can mix without trouble except the Pentosin G12 and G12++ VW usesDexcool got its reputation for not mixing from the sludge problem, but as many people have pointed out Dexcool can be mixed freely with any of the other coolants without producing sludge.
Virginia Creeper is a devil to get rid of, but I did finally manage to Kill it well with continuous spraying of Round UpAs for the sticky Residue on your Siding, Walmart sells a Siding cleaner, for Vinyl and AluminumI have used it to clean Bird Crap and sticky Bug Guts on the Siding of my House (sorry for being so graphic) but it does clean it well.
