.lights? The lights are definitely insulation-safe, but I would imagine that's more for pink fiberglass batt insulationWe have several in our attic with no insulation anywhere near them, so warm air leaks into the atticI would like to hand-place some quot;blow-inquot; cellulose insulation around the area to better insulate itThe only reason for cellulose versus pink fiberglass is because Home Depot doesn't sell the blow-in pink stuffAgain, this will not actually be quot;blown inquot; but placed around the lights by hand.
I'm not sure what these confectionary items are, but I wonder if they're chocolate? If so this may be serious for your dog depending on the quantity eaten, the type of choclate and the size of your dogSigns of poisoning include vomiting, diarrhoea, then later seizures, coma and poss deathI don't say this to alarm you, but it is important you take it seriouslyIf you have any activated charcoal in your dog's first aid kit give them it straight away to reduce toxic effect, but then please contact your animal's vet / doctor immediately for advice and poss support treatmentGood luck NB Chocolate contains theobromine that is toxic to dogs in sufficient quantities(100-150 mg/kg) - it's half life is 17 - 18 hours, so your dog at this point is likely to survive the toxicity but will need rehydration - please call a vet.
Call the vet, maybe she has foil stuck in her digestive tractAnd in the mean time try to offer her some ground beef or some chicken or something, if she can eat anything that would be good.If she doesn't take it then that means she is really feeling like crap. The best thing you can do is talk to your vet for his/her opinion of what to do and try to get your dog to eat.
Did you at least try calling your vet? that would be very helpfulif you cant reach your normal vet call another oneDo you have peptobismol? I would give your dog a tablet or 2 teaspoons if you have any and if your dog keeps excessively pooping or vomiting but do give your dog lots of waterif you can access a store get your dog unflavored pedialiteif not just lots of water and try to give her a small piece of plain boiled chicken or meat so your dog can get some food in some times they prefer something other than dog food and plain meat or chicken is an ok substitute as long as its plain since excessive flavorings and condiments may upset your dogs stomachGood luck with your doggy.
Call the vetWhile chocolate isn't as harmful as some make it out to be, it can still do damage when your dog gets too muchWe don't know the size of the bag, so we cannot judge on the aluminum foil, but even if she is passing some, that doesn't mean that all of it will pass natuallyYou should call your vet and get his/her opinion.
There is a thermal protector in the fixture, and it is designed to not overheat under those conditionsas for the cellulose, I think you would be better off flopping pieces of batt insulation rather than trying to spread the cellulose by hand, but that's my opinionI have made many installations with insulation blown in around the fixtures, and never had a problem.
