I have a juicer but its not made for citrus, so I would have to peel any lemosn or limes to juice themAny suggestions on how to make it easier? thanks
Only if your soil is acidic. applying lime reduces acidity levels and allows the grass to absorb more nutrients from the soil. A soil test will tell you your soils ph level and whether or not to apply lime.
I suppose it depends which limes we are talking about? :P Lime the fruit? Or Lime/ Calcium Carbonate? :P If its the fruit, well I can't guarantee any affect and you would be spending millions if your garden is big. If its the latter however, it can help if your soil is quite acidic, it will therefor neutralize (As the Carbonate is an alkaline) which will further allow the grass to absorb more nutrients :) Hope this helped! :D
A soil test is ideal, but you can pretty much ask a knowledgeable person in your area if you need to lime your soil and how much. Lime isn't a fertilizer- more isn't better.
