I know theres red light tanning beds but are there blue light tanning beds?
I'm a scientist and I can assure you only ultraviolet light (in the B band) will give you a tan. UV light is invisible to our eyes. Any color you see from the lights is just extra light that has no effect. If someone is making tanning beds that look red, they are fooling you into thinking they are safer by not appearing blue. They are just using the red to hide the blue. The invisible UV light MUST still be present to cause a tan and it is just as bad for your skin no matter what other colors are added. The other colors have no effect on the skin, they do not make UV safe. This is pure fakery to make money by selling you a dangerous product. They must have taken lessons from the cigarette companies.
