is this a decent exhaust system for a 300zx?
It'll drone because it's got that drift spec muffler (or shell) on it (see: 8 muffler). You're best bet is to just get an exhaust shop to weld some aluminized piping on there where the crack is and replace a muffler if necessary. Should cost less than 100 bucks without the muffler. Let's face it.on a n/a 300zx you ain't picking up any horsepower from a cat back. Don't ask me why these companies still make droning straight through exhaust (basically turbo cat backs) for naturally aspirated cars bably a psychological thing so the driver believes he's picking up power. If you're driving an n/a car the only only brands I'd recommend are borla and magnaflow to some extent.but magnaflow does slip fit exhaust which is b.s. for the price they're charging (probably so they can adjust fitment to different cars). Borla typically has flanged bolted exhaust; it looks and sounds good but it's more expensive.
