I would never power flush my transmission. A few of my friends had that service done at AAMCO and it destroyed their transmissions within a few miles. It does more harm than good for an old engine. A simple fluid and filter change is enough. If the fluid is extremely dirty then drain it, change the filter, fill to proper level and drive around then drain and fill again until it is clear. The 'old' fluid will not harm the transmission as long as the filter and at least 4 qts are changed in the oil change.

Honda transmissions are quite different from other normal transmissions. They are built much more like a manual transmission, but with automatic controls (and a torque converter instead of a clutch obviously). They are not susceptible to the same problems with sludge build-up as other transmissions. In fact, most don't even have a filter built in for that reason. All that is required is a drain and refill. No need to do a flush - some shop is trying to sell you on an expensive procedure that you don't need. It won't make your transmission last one minute longer, so don't do it.
