Whats a better first carDodge charger for the luxury and safetyOr jeep xj for four wheel driveIf the xj im doing a 4.5 lift 32 tiresI get lots of snow and roads are bad
i agree with Too Awesome the jeep is more reliable, however if its your first car and you are young take advantage of it. the charger is awesome and you will never forget for the rest of your life the good times you will have in it. you have the rest of your life to be safe and have a reliable car. the old charger is becoming extinct so take advantage of this rare opportunity.
well when you take out your tire you should see if there is anything still inside your tire. if there is you should clean it take it out and if the holes are small then you probably will not need a new tube.
The tires will be fine unless they are cut or have the cords showing. Get Mr Tuffy tire liners to help prevent flats.
Jeeps are more reliable and is way more suitable for the winter. Chargers have a bad reputation for reliability, plus they are expensive to insure. And it's RWD so it will be bad in the winter. The Jeep has a lot more ground clearance.
Both are great vehicles, but since it's your first car, hands down the XJ is a better choice, since most often new drivers with their first cars end up totaling them, and it will cost a lot less to total a $4000 XJ than a $15000+ charger. Oh, and don't bother lifting it yet. Wait until you wreck it and get another one. Then you'll learn that you either don't need to lift it as a 235/75-15 on a Cherokee will go dang near anywhere you need to go, or that if you're going to go offroad, you will stick with 31s because they are so much cheaper and more abundant, or 33s because they are bigger, still cheaper and still more abundant. And you'll learn that cutting the fenders is a better idea than a big lift.
