We are planning a family trip around Northern California, and one item we thought of was the Jelly Belly Factory TourBut during the weekends they're not working, of course.I had pictured an awesome working candy factory, ala Willy Wonka (sans Oompa-loompas of course) Anybody taken the tour? Is it worth going on a weekend to see a bunch of idle candy machines?
Do not goYour kids will scream of boredomIn years past, and almost forever, this was a really fun tour Then, the food laws changedAll you do now is walk in one square, about 400 yards long, around the top of the factory looking downThere are about 4 people who work thereThe machines do all the workTake the kids for a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, but keep them within arms distanceTake them for a walk up the north side of the bridges mountain range, the Marin Headlands and look way down on the top of the bridge and all of the SF Bay AreaRent bikes and ride across the Golden Gate bridge, through Sausalito and over to TiburonThen take the ferry back to SF and arrive at Fisherman's Wharf If you want to view cool stuff, go to the musuems in Golden Gate Park or visit the Exploratorium for hand's on scienceIf you are a real foodie, just watch the Food Network program on the Jelly Belly factoryIt holds more interest on TV then in person.
HELL YES! I was at a friends house and he whole family was in bed and we heard the door open and close twice and slamBut it was locked and the whole family got up and we called the police and everything because we would hear walking and the whole family was togetherwe had two people at every door in the house and no one came or left and when the cops came they found nothing
I think some houses are possessed by the presence of something and/or someoneI guess haunted is as good a term as any.
As my mother is native Irish, so yes I doI believe in paranormal and all things can have possibilityEven though I am quite science oriented, it does not mean it does not exist just because it does not register on the scientific rationale meterI guess that makes me a renegade science geekLOL Also, I have a friend who is an unwilling seer of lost souls who do hauntShe wishes she could not see them and in fact tries to run away from them if they realize she sees themShe does ask another medium to help her move them along
I think anything is plausible, who am I to judgeThere are lost spirits that need to rest, but are trapped in purgatory.
