I have one of them car battery jump packs, thing is my gf lost the charger. I'm looking to get a replacement yet I don't know what I'm looking for. Its a EverStart Jump starter. 300amp. The port for the recharging says 12V DC input. What will I look for online or at the store. Also in the same line of questioning, how will I know I am buying the correct male plug.

I am hoping my battery charger will charge up my truck, considering the fact that I fairly need to go to the store. Dog and cats don't want excuses and i get hungry too!
Bring it to radio shack or an electronic shop and have them look at the port that you pkug the charger into. They can tell you what size it is, then ask them if they have that plug in a 12v DC system. If they say no, take the info and go buy it online. You sure it was a DC connection? To charge it did it plug into a cigarette lighter port on the car (12vDC) or into the wall socket in the house (120 AC)?
Probably the BEST thing to do is go to the EverStart website and look there. That way you will find out exactly what you need with no guessing.
