Just because oatmeal (porridge oats) are high in fiber and takes time to digest that means I will put on?

weight if i eat them for dinner and after 3h go to bed??? i just had oatmeal with a scoop of whey protein and some blueberries-that's about 260 calories so i was wondering if i will put in weight because i have oats for dinner quite a lot lately.

You should cut out carbs or eat them at a minimum and replace your carbs with healthy proteins such a grilled chicken breast and grilled fishAlso, keep sodium to a minimum and exercise!!! Run, walk, whatever.
Don t go back to old eating habits even after you lose weight
You can loose weight quickly and healthy but you can gain it back when your done dieting cause your body just reacts that way.

nofoods that are high in fiber take a lot of energy to digest, so you'll probably lose some calories while digesting it.
