Which would you prefer and why?
Cuvettes come in different materials, plastic, glass, and quartz. Given that you are interested in different wavelength of light, you might be interested in the absorbance of light at particular wavelengths by different transparent materials. Google cuvettes and go to the website of a company that sells them, they will have data on which materials absorb/transmit as a function of wavelength. Good luck
