I have a gateway laptop. Recently the charger seemed to not have a very good connection to the laptop. Then when I unplugged it I saw that is had some green fluid on it, I wiped it off and soon forgot about it. Then later when I re-plugged in my laptop it said that the battery wasn't being charged correctly and to replace the battery. later smoke started coming from the connection between my laptop and the charger. I immediately unplugged everything and took out the battery. My laptop and battery looked fine but I saw that my charger melted a little exposing the wires. Was it just my charger that had been the problem all along?What is going on and is my laptop okay?
