Question:

LCD monitors vista compliant v/s non compliant?

I want to by a LCD monitor for my workstation wanted to know if it would make a difference if the LCD was vista compliant v/s non compliant. The Laptop to which i wish to connect the monitor is vista compliant. I am looking to buy a 19 widescreen LCD. Thanks for your replies.

Answer:

its all ok. just get a monitor that will support the maximum resolution of your vid card. But im pretty sure LCD nowadays will support, unless you an unknown brand. Try AOC cheap but good.
It doesn't need to be Vista Compliant. That is just Microsoft's way of cashing in on fancy words.
Any LCD monitor will work completely fine with Vista. The only possible problem would be when trying to play protected video, you would need an HDCP compliant video card and cable through to the HDCP compliant monitor.
