I get stuck on the part where you have to pull two levers to open a door and then when I go through the door I have to pull 8 more leversThere are two ports on each side of the door I open.
LOL when you say you had +30 then snow the next week, are you talking about that big winter storm that we had right around easter in AB/SK? Haha I'm in Alberta too so i know what you are talking about!I still have my horses winter blanket ready and available for freak snow storms in May like there has been DAny way to answer your question i would just leave her for now if she is already wet, but work with her at 5:30-6:00ish when you get there (if you don't have to be in a class or something like that)When you get there I would take her inside and put a cooler on her to dry her off/get her warm then just put a rain sheet on her to keep her dryer and warm when she is outside over night hoped this helped and Good LUck at your show! :)
If she's under shelter she'll be fine! :) Just put a blanket on her when you get there if you're still worried about herIf she gets wet and the temperature drops, that's when she's more likely to get coldSome horses will start shivering and get cold when their wet in cold temperatures, and some horses don'tJust keep an eye on herAnd I live in good ole MN too, roller coaster weather!
Your horse will be fineWhere I live, there has lately been light cold rain in the morning and it's completely sunny and warm in the afternoonI always turn out my two horses in the morning, and then they get rained on, but I know they'll be fine because they have a shelter (basically the equivalent of your outdoor stall) and they have never wanted to come in, even when I open the barn doors and offer to let them inIt's really nothing to worry aboutI've let my horses out in snow and they love rolling in it, so obviously they don't get uncomfortably cold very easily )
This is a situation where you are glad that you do not fuss with blankets on a horse during winter or rain or what everIt does pay offYour horse is under a roof.no worriesSo it rains, so what, the horse is dry and is used to being outside No problem You are over thinking things and worrying needlessly.
