Question:

Life Expectancy of a Laptop?

How long does an average laptop last?

Answer:

I even have had 3 in 6 years and all and sundry of them had to binned after 2 years. it somewhat is by using the fact i stay in a harsh environment the place there the temp is often around 30 c and that i'm on the brink of the sea, so the air is moist and salty. thinking lower back to 2001 my pc basically had a three GB annoying force and that substitute into large dooper.the only i bought final 365 days has a one hundred fifty GB annoying force and alter into below a million/2 the fee of the 1st one
Far longer than it will take for it to go obsolete. I'm using a 5-year old laptop right now, but it's tragically slow compared to new computers. Two years is too short. If you don't do anything intense on your computer (like gaming, graphics or programming), 4 years is probably reasonable.
3 to 5 years. In a business setting a laptop has completely depreciated (lost all its value) after 5 years. However, a good number of them don't make it that long.
5 years?
There is no real way to answer that question. Laptops last anywhere from a couple of days (hardware failure) or more than ten years if everything goes OK. It's like a PC. As long as nothing major goes wrong you can use a computer for a long time (as long as windows can be put on it).
