How do you get liquid metal? Can you break a thermomiter and watch it bounce and just do whatever you eant with it? Do i need gloves? Masks? Goggles?
If you can't do that, it may be possible to straighten it by rolling it back and forth between two hard flat surfaces, but I suspect the fin will interfere with that. I presume the wire isn't free and it's worth some effort to straighten.
