ihave a small light pink bedroom, my window is medium size and is in the middle of the wall, what colour curtains should i buy, and should they be long or short?[i want my walls to appear longer due to my SMALL room]
I've seen on home improvements shows, where they would put curtains up to the ceiling to bring the eye up, making the room appear larger. White always looks nice from the out side, but if you're adventurous, any color is fine.
They should be long. It makes a HUGE statement, if you have curtains from ceiling to floor. Also, make sure you have the fabric go several inches past the window on the right and left. If you want the walls to seem longer, then get a horizontal stripe. Trust me, you'll love this look if you get a luxurious fabric. You can go with any color - cream would be nice - but try for something with a special texture, like silk.
