I was at a home party a couple years back where it was like a tupperware party, but with home decor items. It was very classy and gorgeous items, but for the life of me I cannot remember the company name... I want to get into selling home decor type items myself, and join a company to do it... but I can't seem to find any companies in Canads (Ontario) that are like this... cna you help me out?
Home Interiors used to be one, but they went bankrupt. Now they are called Home Garden I think.
I think Home and Garden also went out of business. I loved these types of parties, but I think what happens in the long run is that people don't need home interiors stuff all the time and they don't purchase from the same company all the time. So hard to get return buyers consistently. If you are going to do it because you love it and not really worried about make huge money...then go for it. Work with a direct sale home decor company. I really believe in direct sales...so you can make your own schedule. Try looking at the Direst Sellers Association Web Site. Members of this association are running their businesses under strict standards. They should have a list on their web site. Also research the company’s compensation plan. How you get paid. Some companies are much better than others. Best companies only promote you when you help you team members grow their business. Should have a bonus pay out to you if one of your team members does better than you. This encourages a good work ethic. The way some companies compensation plans work...it sort of hinders the sponsor from helping the team member do to well. If they pass their sponsor by the sponsor will lose money...so sponsor may not encourage great success for team member. Also look at the company’s products and try to pick a company that offers some sort of product that people need to purchase again and again. Repeat buyers are so much easier to market to then trying to find new buyers all the time. Do you research and take the extra time. You will be happy in the end. Consider my company Arbonne.
