With no more info on the rest of the engine I have, here is my 2 cents worthThe 214/214 and 214/224 number are intake/exhaust, If you have a factory/restrictive exhaust the second cam would be better because it will keep the exhaust valve open longer to help get rid of the spent gasesIf you have a good intake and exhaust system the first cam would be better choice There are 100's of variables that would dictate the best cam for you application read as much as you can and use the cam manufacturers web sites and free tech lines NUMBER 1 RULEDon't get carried away with bigger has to be better
