Question:

Looking for replacement OEM/Performance exhaust system for 250 Inline?

Hi everyone, I‘m looking for an exhaust system for 1966 Chevy Impala. The one I have now is all rusty, and I cannot for the life of me find a replacement, OEM or aftermarket. Does anyone know where I can get a full system? I‘ve looked at summit, year one, impala bobs, sinclairs, classic induistries, to name a few. And, though I doubt it exists, but does anyone make a dual exhaust to go with the Clifford Headers for an Inline engine? Thanks for the help!

Answer:

True, cold air is more combustible than hot, but. Where I live, it's so hot outside, I doubt if it would do me any good :(
Worth it cold air is more combustable then hot air go for it
dismiss any answer by skill of previous answerer. attempt Clifford vehicle, they make approximately any header/exhaust factors for the 230 or 250 CID engines. great engines by skill of ways.
this maybe the case where you go to an exhaust shop and have one made. When most people need exhaust system they don't buy one from a catalog but from a local shop.Good luck
Any competent muffler shop can fix you right up. Most have bend cards for cars as far back as the 50's. But since you seem to be looking for a custom exhaust and with the car/engine combo you've got the best thing to do is call your local muffler shop. Keep in mind not all shops like custom work because it does take longer to do and if they do take the work be prepared to shell out a few extra bucks for their time. But in the end unless you're really good.I mean REALLY good.you can't cobble up the exhaust system from pieces parts better than the pros can. For a good sound done right take it to a shop.
