Question:

Low fat, high fiber Vegan diet makes me really constipated? why?

I now eat little fat in my meals, almost no oil, no meat, sometimes fish/shrimp(mostly boiled)i eat whole wheat bread, fruit, Veggie, low fat, low sugar food, drink pretty of water, no diary food for me (i drink soymilk).but why am i so constipated? every time i go to the bathroom, i have the unfinished feeling, there is always something left in my body, which is really annoying, because my belly kind of sticks outshouldn't i have much better bowel movements since i am eating low-fat, high-fiber food?can someone help me?Thanks

Answer:

after its cooled it would be fine I thinkYou can always keep meat warm in an oven at 200, so I don't see why you couldn't put it in there for a bit while it sets up.
You would have to leave the door wide open, All the way The meat needs to rest at room temp.
If the microwave isn't being used put it there or look for a high shelf.
Not unless the oven is totally coldIf it's the oven you cooked the meat in, it will still retain heat and continue to cook your meat.
Believe it or not, you really may not be getting enough fat to really properly eliminate the waste from your bodyIf by upping your fiber and drinking more water you still have the problem, I would suggest adding more fat to your dietIf that doesn't work, talk to your doctor as their are a variety of things that could be causing the problemAs already pointed out, fish isn't part of a vegetarian/vegan dietYou have a diet where you have made the choice of cutting red meats from your diet, but not all animal protein.
