i got hired at lowes as a CSA loader and im really not happy about it i applied for other positions well tomorrow is my orientation what can i expect to be doing as a CSA loader is it hard work im 18 and im very very skinny not muscular at all and they say i will be promoted quickly but how quickly?Does anyone know that have been at lowes?? What you are not being told is that you will not get dollar raises... You will not get anything but a headache and handed alot of lies.. Lowes does not pay anyone fairy they do not employ you in other area's unless you kiss their ***.. they dont give a **** if you been there for 9 years like my self which i am a front loader... I make 9.19 dollars a hour and when i started it was 6.50 dollars a hour.. That is a 2.38 dollar raise since i started in 2004.. They also are very rude to customers by walking off or they are in the break room taking a break while their button is going off.. Or they will get a call pretend to walk to their area while your on hold then after a minute or two pick up the phone again and tell you a price that is most likely not right.. Lowes made in 2012 was $294 billion, and in 2011. The total was $279 billion... Now we are in 2013 about to be 2014 lowes is about to make close to if not about $300 billion dollars just in the US alone and yet they have cut all of the part timers back saying We didn't make enough money the forth quarter.. yet it is very easy to see why they say they did not make anything barely at the post black friday, black friday and after black friday sales... To which the promitional department in lowes is located at HQ in Mooresville NC... Think you really wanna work for a scam compeny?... You can get the same products at smaller stores such as Ace hardware, and mom and pop hardware stores and at a better price as well as alot better made..
The job is terrible. They tell you that you are going to be helping people load and be on a register but they will make you pull carts in the heat for 8 hours a day. When you get off of work you are so drained that you don't want to do anything else. I applied for other positions as well and I had GREAT experience in management and wanted a little retail job while I went to school but its not worth it because I am too tired to study when I get off. Didn't matter that my experience was superior to the people they let stand around all day on a register or in their departments. I told them I am not in the best of shape and it wears me out but it seemed like when I told them that they put me less and less on a register and made me push more and more carts. Rude management. Enjoy the weekends because the carts will disapear even faster than you can stock them. You will want to shoot your self working as a loader for lowes. Very deceiving people. Was never told my MAIN job would be cart pushing and it turns out I do that more than I load or work register. Joke company.
